My UNIQUE bro..!

I still remember the day he was born. The news spread quickly. Quicker than it should have. The reason was obvious for the kind of world we are living in. The reason was his being an ‘abnormal’ baby. I was quiet small at that time, so was a little confused about the whole senario. But now after so many years and so much experience I can manage to think about it, about the whole scenario he would have faced, about the thinking of everybody else and about what should be done. I wont say that I have a very very good relation with him. No! I don’t because I haven’t met him from so many years. But we have a good relation, as anybody else would like to have.

What does abnormality actually mean???

Going by the word it convey meaning “not normal”. But this ‘not normal’ thing is taken as something very bad, kind of a sin. WHY!!?

Just because a person is different from others he is bad? Even if its not his fault. Its human nature to resists a change, but it does not seem “human” when the change is a human himself.! I have seen many parents feeling very deppressed about their child if he/she is ‘abnormal’ and I proud to know atleast a couple who has been taking care of their child considering him UNIQUE and a gift from god.

But the point is the aren’t abnormal, but they are UNIQUE. They are different from the so called normal people. Why be normal if you can’t even accept the UNIQUENESS of others??!?

People won’t understand that the persons who have acheived something big were UNIQUE. They didn’t think normal. They never considered themselves in the so called ‘abnormal’ normal league and thats the only reason they succeeded.

There are many famous personalities who were not ‘normal’, but the world of the so called ‘normals’ should be grateful that they were born.

I don’t say that show sympathy towards the UNIQUE people, instead I say behave as one always does. Don’t make them beleive they are out of the league.

A blind person wouldn’t like if you tell him that you are sympathatic for him loosing his eyesight.!

Anyways, just to conclude,

think BIG, think DIFFERENT, think UNIQUE

PS:just rock on!!

  1. Good one parth….
its a good issue to be raised….
Whenever I look some physically challenged or so called ‘abnormal’ person, I really feel sympathetic. BUt as you said, they don’t like it.

Also, it makes me feel thankful to God for whatever he has given me.

Respect the uniqueness or abnormalities, for if they didn’t exist, you won’t be called a ‘normal’.

  2. Good one parth…
well, i am not sure if many people can explain why unique people aren’t accepted by the so called normal people, but if i may suggest, read fountainhead by ayn rand.. its a bit long but quite a true reflection of the extremes of society..
